Welcome to the Municipal Inspectors Network!
"The Municipal Inspectors Network is a rapidly growing community of public service professionals, employed by local municipalities as inspectors to ensure compliance with state and local laws in the construction and maintenance of commercial, industrial and residential buildings."
The goal of the Municipal Inspectors Network is to facilitate a network where inspectors can connect to other public service professionals across the nation, or just across the hallway, to exchange information, technologies and other issues facing the municipal inspection community."
Inspectors perform a vital function, usually within civil service. To achieve a high level of professional competence requires years of training and experience as well as ongoing education in the thousands of code provisions that are constantly being updated or modified.
To keep up with the growing complexities of code requirements and inspection processes, today’s inspection professionals understand that their peers are an invaluable resource. The most effective way to stay current on new code requirements, innovative construction techniques and materials, standards of practice, and code of ethics is to be part of a peer-to-peer network.
